Pairing #1: Covergirl x The Dream Male (aka Marduk)
This pairing has been together since the middle of October. There have been numerous copulations observed and they are never apart. This pairing represents a direct Dream Line pairing, due to the fact that Marduk is Day Dream's brother and an offspring from the famous Jeff Hudson clutch in 2001. This is also Covergirl's first attempt at breeding and her 25% Potential Het for Albino makes things interesting. Update: 2/3/12: Covergirl's attitude towards food recently has sparked a possible indication she is on her way. Though a valid refusal of food has not been confirmed. she is not seeking it out at nigh like she usually does and stay confined in the bushes with Marduk. Updates to come soon... 2/4/12: Covergirl, as expected, has officially gone off feed and looks like things are starting to move in the right direction. The countdown will begin...
Pairing #2: Blue x October
This pairing has been going strong since the start. Copulations are observed almost every morning and the two stay together throughout the days. October represents the famous pairing of Calico Jr. x Day Dream back in 2006 by Greg Maxwell. He has proven to be a great breeder out of no where and we look for big things from him. Blue is a true blue female that had a very beautiful clutch back in 07 with Marduk that produced Morpheus, Dreamy, and some other very high end animals. This pairing is very high octane and should be very exciting. Updates will come as soon as there are any... Update: 2/3/12: Still copulations are being observed in the morning and things still look good. Blue is still on feed.
Pairing #3: Ella Diablo x The Prince
This a relatively fresh pairing and has only been together for a couple of weeks. However, this pairing represents one of the greatest, if not the greatest, pairings that has ever happened at Fine Green Tree Pythons. Ella Diablo represents the infamous Pepper x MOC pairing in 2004 by Greg Maxwell. She is potentially 25% het for albino and her colors are just out of this world. Her sibs include Cha-Cha, Lawfonduh, Darth Sidious, and many more. The Prince is from a pairing between Optimus Prime (aka Mr. Black) and a female named Blue Pepper. He is genetically packed with some very famous blood lines and the results from him should be nothing short of spectacular. Updates from this pairing are going to come as soon as they happen... Update: 2/3/12: The photo up top was taken this morning and things continue to look good. Ella has finally calmed down and is being receptive towards The Prince. More to come soon...
Quality is Contagious!! This list is used as a guide to plan pairings that are out crossed genetically and to produce extreme offspring. Every pairing has been planned accordingly and with the right intentions of producing solid designer chondros. There are going to be more pairings announced throughout the season, as well. One thing to keep in mind, things do not always go to plan in a breeding season. There may be changes made or animals substituted accordingly. Such occurrences will be announced promptly and individuals on a waiting list will be notified, as well. Waiting lists will start once the list is announced. However, no deposits will be accepted until eggs are laid by the female in a designated pairing. At that time, deposits will be required to hold your place on the waiting list and for actual selection of your animal. The time it takes from when the eggs are laid till the time the babies become established is when payments need to be made. Your balance needs to be paid in full before selection of the babies start. Once the babies are fully established and feeding the selection process will begin with an announcement through email and on the website. The selection of your animal depends on what number you are on the waiting list and will be done through email and hi-quality individual photographs. Visitors are always welcome to hand pick their baby at the facility. Arrangements need to be made accordingly.
