This August clutch resulted from a spring pairing. Six beautiful babies hatched. One of them was dubbed "Darth
Maul" by a ChondroForum member because of its red head with dark stripes that resembled the Star Wars character.
This male developed into a gorgeous adult that is one of the most beautiful designer chondros I have ever seen. He
appeared on the cover of The More Complete Chondro. This was Pepper's first clutch (she was mistakenly believed
to be a male prior to this pairing) and the results of this clutch showed her potential for high end offspring.
