The 2000 Gordon X Lilly Clutch

This was my second attempt to breed the OS male Gordon to a female with high yellow genetics, and Lilly seemed like a good candidate following the success of her 1999 clutch. Unfortunately, she produced mostly slugs this time, although three very nice babies were hatched. The center baby was nicknamed "Gorbachev" by me because of the birth mark over its left eye. It was sold to Jack Sadovnik by its owner as a female, after being incorrectly sexed by another well-known and experienced breeder. (It happens!) When Jack discovered the error he renamed it "Switch", and he reports that it is a great high yellow breeder.
