Buttermilk is from the OS high yellow line that originated from a yellow male produced by
John Hedger and sold to Mark Bell, who loaned the animal to OS.  Her rich green color and white flowers must be seen live to be fully appreciated, and she is always a favorite of visitors
to the chondro room.  Buttermilk grew quickly as a youngster and reached breeding size in
her third year.
