Fine Green Tree Pythons 2006 Yearlings
Each year, select keepers are held back from most clutches and raised to yearling size. Some of these are added to the Fine GTPs breeding colony, and others are offered for sale as sexed yearlings or young adults. Purchasing yearlings is often the best way to build a breeding group because the coloration and the gender of the animals is known, and the animals are well beyond the more delicate baby stage.

At this time I have one yearling from the 2007 Oz x Queen clutch that may be offered. Please contact me with any questions about obtaining this male, details below.

Oz is a faithful breeder and hails from the Ophiological Services high yellow line. He is a sibling to the "Golden Mayan Serpent" sold by Gene Bessette a few years ago. Queen is a farm bred Biak type with more blue on her than most other Biak females that I have seen.

I have one male left from this pair to offer, and one female keeper. Biak outcross project offspring can be very slow to color change, often taking several years to manifest the mature adult colors. Most of the offspring from this pair are retaining a great deal of yellow with a few random green and white scales coming in. Because of this slow change, pricing on younger animals is difficult if the seller is honest. This male could develop a lot more green and remain a pretty but non-spectacular specimen, or he could develop into a stunning adult worth many thousands of dollars.

Because of these considerations, I am not officially offering him for sale at this time. I do not need any other high yellow males, so he will be sold at some point. I am willing to discuss serious offers. Thanks for looking!
