This was the first successful breeding of the female, who had laid her first clutch in the water bowl, and had her second one accidentally destroyed in a thermostat malfunction.  Sired by "Freckles", now in the Greg Gibbs collection, these babies trace their heritage back to the first captive chondro breeding in the US by the Sedgewick County Zoo in 1976.  I kept # 08, a female.
