| I produced these charming little Aru babies from wild collected parents that I acquired in 2000. They were not easy to breed, but the extra effort made the results that much more satisfying. Although not locality-specific (no collection data is available) these wild chondros conform to the accepted phenotype for this Island race. I'm holding back all five offspring in the hope of getting a high white female. All the babies were easy to start feeding, unlike most Aru babies which have a well-deserved reputation for being very difficult to establish. |
