I didn't know what I had when I bought this fellow as a little dark brown baby in 1995.   He turned a pretty blue-green color as a yearling, hence his name.  As he matured into a young adult, the full blue pigment developed.

Even more exciting than this male's beautiful blue color is his proven ability to throw blue offspring.  Aquaman has sired several standout blue chondros, including "Blue Max" and
"Blue Frost".
