Aquagirl was one of my first chondros and was purchased as an unchanged yearling.   She became progressively more blue during several breeding attempts and remained blue for
good after her first successful clutch in 1999.  

This wonderful matriarch of my collection passed away November 21, 2003 due to
reproductive complications.   Her legacy includes both "Calico Junior" and "Blue Frost" -
two of the best designer chondros to be hatched in recent years. She was a sibling to the famous calico "Computer Chondro". She never developed the cult following that one or two other "name" blue females did, but her offspring, though few, will continue to shape the
course of designer breeding for many years. Here is her last photo, taken on 11/14/03.
