Reproductive History
Alice will be ready to breed in 2003
I produced this Keeper Select female in 1999 and I am very happy I decided to keep her.
Her mother "Joan Collins" developed reproductive problems and never had another successful clutch, leaving Alice to be the only chondro to represent the JC line in my collection.  Since this line originates from the Sedgewick County Zoo hatch in 1973, the first ever in the U.S.,
it is special to me.

Alice is a chondro of many colors.  She turned a characteristic grass green with yellow markings as a young adult, but began to turn a more minty green color as she neared maturity.   Just before her first breeding period at four years of age, she gained a lot of blue.  Once breeding activity commenced, her green color returned.  I anticipate that she will eventually keep her blue color just like her mother.
