Joan Collins Joan Collins (TW-93-30)

One of my early acquisitions as a new chondro collector, Joan produced my first clutch of baby chondros using maternal incubation. She was named after the actress with the fiery temper, and actually was introduced to the human Joan Collins (via my web site) on the British comedy show So Graham Norton. Joan traces her roots to the first-ever captive hatching of chondros in the US in 1973 by Karl Switak. Joan had reproductive problems in 2002 and died in 2003 from related issues. The Walsh female "Powder" (also deceased) was Joan's sister.
