Grace and her sister Chiquita were produced by me in 1999 from lemon female Lilly and sire Barnose (TW-94-146), the latter being a 25% Biak outcross from the Ol Yeller line. I used artificial incubation to hatch this clutch utilizing the Walsh-Bessette jar method successfully for the first time, which was no easy feat. The yellow babies were pale and reduced in pattern, and I could tell they were different from other yellow neonates I had hatched and seen. Many chondro lovers have commented that Grace has one of the best looking heads they have ever seen. Happily, Grace has proven to be a good breeder and one of her 2005 male offspring is a real knockout.
