The Computer Chondro (nicknamed for the pixel-like appearance of his granular, multi-colored pattern) was hatched in 1993 by Trooper Walsh from normal looking parents. I purchased him as a yearling in anticipation that he would retain the unusual pattern and with the hope that the traits would prove to be heritable. This male was one of the first true "designer" chondros, and he became the founder of the now well-established calico project.
