This special, second-generation (F2) ontogenic blue male was one of the first chondros in the US to morph directly into the blue adult coloration without going through the normal green phase first. Produced in 2001 by pairing Aquaman with a hormonal blue female, Blue Frost is a cousin to the Morris-Holland blue male and represents a distinct blue morph project with a great family history. A half sibling to "Blue Max" (also an Aquaman offspring), this male also has close genetic ties to the calico project. As an added bonus, he is puppy-dog tame and easy to maintain. It is hoped that he will carry on the rich reproductive history started by his parents and other high-end relatives.
